Beechan ends his Robin run nicely, tying off the biggest loose end (the sidekick wannabe Dodge) and leaving a lesser one kind of waving, but not dangling (Robin’s latest failed romance).
Even though it goes over three issues, there’s only really a couple’s worth of story here. Beechan fills the first issue with a flashback of […]

Swamp Thing #15-17 by Brian K. Vaughan and Giuseppe Camuncoli
April 29th, 2008 · No Comments
There are two surprises at the end of the last of these issues. First, the real Swamp Thing finally shows up (Vaughan’s run has shown, better than it’s done anything else, Tefé is the Corey Haim of Swamp Things). The other surprise is the big villain woman is really the big villain man in drag. […]

I can’t even imagine reading “The Sinestro Corps War” as a monthly (or biweekly). Batman and the Outsiders #25-27 by Mike W. Barr and Alan Davis
April 24th, 2008 · No Comments
The Outsiders go to space–and are apparently the only superheroes on the planet, as Superman, Wonder Woman or Supergirl could have handled these issues’ crisis in a matter of moments–and Halo falls in love (again). … Maybe there’s some problems with suspense (there isn’t any–it’s unlikely Halo’s going to die after being kidnapped–and it’s kind of odd how easily she’s taken out), but it’s fine.
